Security & Data Handling
How HYPERVC protects venture workflow data.
HYPERVC is operated by HYPERVC Labs Private Limited and built to help VC teams manage sensitive workflow context. This page summarizes current security and data-handling practices in plain language.
Account Protection
HYPERVC uses authenticated user accounts, role-based access for admin functions, password hashing, session controls, and login rate limiting to reduce unauthorized access risk.
Organization Separation
Workspace data is scoped by user and organization. Individual tracking boards are separated by user, while organization-level areas such as Portfolio Startups, Archived Startups, and related shared notes are available to authorized users in the same organization.
Admin Controls
Admin users can create users, manage organization access, reset user passwords, configure financial API access tiers, and review paid financial API usage for billing reconciliation.
Financial Information Requests
When financial information is requested, HYPERVC sends relevant company identifiers to the configured provider, currently Venture Intelligence, and stores returned information for display inside the startup detail page. Paid API calls may be logged for usage tracking.
Data Storage
HYPERVC stores workspace data needed to operate the product, including tracking board entries, archived and portfolio entries, notes, Exit Radar activity, user records, and financial information request logs.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers should invite only authorized users, remove access when users leave, use strong passwords, avoid adding unnecessary personal data into notes, and independently verify third-party company information before relying on it.
